We want to make sure you are aware of some changes for the 2019-20 school year that will impact arrival and dismissal for all of our families including the families of our youngest students. In the past, the bus loop was utilized to drop off and pick up Pre-K students. For the safety of all students, staff and parents and in accordance with HCPSS transportation safety guidelines, all RECC and MINC students will be received and released by staff members to parents in the car loop with all car riders.  

With this in mind, please remember to: 

• Drive slowly in the car loop.
• Place your car tag on your dashboard so that it can viewed as you pull in. (Car tags are issued from the front office.)
• Pull all the way up to the orange cones when dropping off or picking up your child.
• If possible, have your child exit and/or enter on the passenger side of your vehicle.
• Stay in your car while a staff member assists you and your student with exit and entry.
• Please set appointments with your child's teacher to conference in leiu of using arrival/dismissal time to share/discuss information.
