Our 4th and 5th grade students will be participating in a Classroom Spelling Bee. All students will participate in the first competition, which will take place during the week of December 12th, in your child’s homeroom.  Level 1 of the competition will be open to our teachers and students only.  Level 2 will consist of the winner and two alternates in each class. Parents are invited to attend the Longfellow Elementary School Annual Spelling BEE to be held on Friday, January 13th, 2016 at 9:15 am in the cafeteria.

The winner and one alternate from the school-wide competition will participate at the Howard County Public Library Spelling Bee on March 17th, 2017 at Reservoir High School.
