Congratulations to Longfellow Elementary’s Brooke Webster, for winning the Maryland State Young Author’s Contest! Brooke’s fifth grade short story titled, “Maybe” placed first in the competition! However, this is not Brooke’s first state win. As a third grader she placed first with her short story titled "Small But Mighty,” and as a fourth grader placed second for her short story titled “Bitter Sweet 16.” Longfellow is so proud of our talented author!
